Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, and then he took
part on an Antarctic expedition. The film was
finally distributed by National Geographic. From
South America he went over the Pacific to
Micronesia, Macronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia,
Tahiti and Tonga, which included an audience
with the royal family. He was the first modern
German in Tonga! This Royal audience was
shown on German television.
In 1973 he was guest of honour at the opening
ceremony of the first hotel in the Seychelles.
