Of course he gave up business as a butcher
during this time and now only specializes in art
and cultural objects with the support of the
German Institute for history of art and anti-
quities Berlin.

For 36 years he ran the business single-handed
from Frankfurt and Heligoland. Eventually he
longed for the sun and was drawn to Spain and
Marbella. With 10 containers filled with his
treasures he arrived in Puerto Banus where he is
active today together with Mrs Kerstin and
Andreas, his son.
