A True Indiana Jones Story

Hubert Helmut Matysek was a skilled butcher who
had a dream that he wanted to realise. During the
hard post war years in Germany he was penniless
and made his way from the south of Germany to
the north and finally to Heligoland where he worked
for many years in a butchers shop to earn enough
to eat and live. During the time in Heligolandhis
dream formed and he chose to seek foreign lands,
experience different and strange cultures.
He painted a map of the world on the ceiling of
his small room so he could stroll round the world
and consider where he might travel. He also took
on a branch office of a movie camera company
and after some years earned enough to buy him-
self a camera.
